NOEL MATTHEWS

Noel has over 30 years experience in the health and disability sectors having held a number of positions through Middle and Senior management including 19 years as CEO of NorthAble Matapuna Hauora, a not for profit charitable trust in Northland New Zealand.

In the past Noel has been elected onto two national executive boards holding the position of either President or Vice President.

His résumé includes experience in the fields of Human Resource Management, Maori Health and Public Health fields and he is a registered Director on the New Zealand Institute of Directors.

Noel's specialty areas are in strategic planning, project management, governance and the development of self management in teams. 

CAROL WOOD

Carol has worked in disability and social support services since 1992 in management positions including 13 years as the General Manager of DRC Southland and DRC Queenstown. Both not for profit charitable trusts providing disability support services to people in the South of New Zealand.

Since 2004 Carol has held several governance roles. Nationally, she has held the positions of Finance Officer, Vice President and President of the NZ Federation of Disability Information Centres. Carol was also the Treasurer of the Disability Resource Service West Coast Charitable Trust. 

Carol's experience in Quality Improvement, Consumer Consultation, National Information Stocktakes and Service Development is extensive. A successful Event Manager Carol is also a registered Director with the NZ Institute of Directors.

Carol's specialist areas include strategic and business planning, project management and collaboration to help organisations reduce the costs of service provision.
